A whole night performance
of Where Are We Going? And What Are We Doing? is followed
by Hugo Maia's Communio, for amplified piano (1995).
Communio is durational piece that is presented much like
an installation.
Communio requires a well amplified piano (good sound detail,
rather than sound volume) and a large comfortable floor where the audience
sit or lies down, a on a large common bed made of duvets, pillows, matresses,
etc.
The audience is
free to leave and return as long as they don't disturb anyone
else.
In the morning breakfast
is served.
