Video-in Performance (V.I.P) Oogoo has created Video-for-Performance for The Theatre Company Blah Blah Blah, Perpetual Motion Theatre, Nomad Dance Theatre, Shams Theatre, Naga as well as for Oogoo's own productions. Click here for samples of Video-in-Performance (V.I.P.). Oogoo runs a V.I.P. workshop for professionals that explores the integration of Video with live performance - theatre, dance, music. This workshop presents the participants with technical issues - like what is the Cone and how should a performer become aware of it, live video v. recorded image- as well as more creative aspects. The workshop is built as a series of exercises and games and it uses hi-tec cameras, video editing equipment and projectors. It is open to performers, theatre directors, choreographers, stage and light designers, musicians and videographers. A description of the workshop and some theoretical views on the subject.
